Biography

Dr. Erika Laos is the founder and CEO of Bold Alliance Global Strategies, LLC. She is an accomplished speaker, training facilitator, scholar, and organizational leader with over 25 years of professional experience in the public, for-profit, and nonprofit sectors.

She believes it is critical to equip people with global leadership and followership skills that promote organizational success, individual satisfaction, and global sustainability. Her combined work experience with cross-functional diverse teams has led her to research the global dexterities of individuals and organizations that generate sustainable leadership in a global context. She has presented her doctoral research on various aspects of leadership application at Regent University and James Madison University in the United States, and the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Dr. Laos received her B.A. in Government and International Politics from George Mason University, her Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Catholic University of America, and her Doctorate in Strategic Leadership (DSL) from Regent University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University.

Dr. Laos has been heavily involved in charitable activities and advocates for global needs. She is a sustainability advocate and supportive of programs that advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She has participated in Medical Missions to the Dominican Republic as well as similar projects in the United States. She is an active leader in the Lions Club International organization for which she recently founded the Virginia Gateway Lions Club in 2021.

She has served as a board member, volunteer, fundraiser, and/or marketer for several national and international organizations including the National Association of Federal Hispanic Employees (NAHFE), and National Women’s Mentorship Network (WMN), the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), the American Legion, the Reserve Officers’ Association (ROA), the United Nations Association National Capital Region (UNA-NCA), the National Communication Association (NCA), the International Leadership Association (ILA), the International Communication Association (ICA), Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Action (HOLA) Prince William. She is currently appointed as Prince William County Human Rights Commissioner. She has decades of volunteer experience working and mentoring youth at risk as well as youth in faith communities.

She resides in the United States since 1992. Her hobbies include traveling, writing, reading, and attending sports or performing arts events with friends and family.
